How do you define a family?
We started our journey together on Valentine's Day, 2003. We were engaged on July 1, 2005. We were married on November 18, 2006 and welcomed our baby girl into the world on Valentine's Day, 2008.
It wasn't all perfect, though.
Along the way, we lost loved ones to sickness outside of our control.
Along the way, we suffered incredible loss from Hurricane Katrina.
Along the way, we started a new life in a far-away land (okay, it's just Texas) where we knew no one.
Along the way, we grew stronger because of it all.
And now, the next journey begins....we found out today that we will be welcoming a second child to our growing family. We cannot wait to meet our newest addition in the new year!
